Located in Portland’s Libbytown neighborhood, just steps from the recreational opportunities of the Dougherty Complex, 45 Dougherty Court is a five-story, 63-unit housing development featuring a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. Amenities include a fitness center, community room, laundry facilities, secure indoor bike storage, and EV charging stations. Built to LEED Silver standards, the project prioritizes energy efficiency and sustainability.
PGC collaborated with project teams to develop a solution that regraded the site, eliminating the need to export contaminated soils. Additionally, PGC redesigned the exterior wall system to incorporate an innovative sheathing product that met fire and energy code requirements while reducing costs. This project showcases PGC’s commitment to delivering practical, cost-effective solutions for clients with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability, while remaining mindful of budget constraints.
