Clay has over 10 years of experience in construction, renovation, and development projects across a variety of market sectors, including healthcare, multi-family housing, labs and clean manufacturing facilities, and commercial office buildings. Throughout his career, Clay has worked in various roles, allowing him to bring unique insights into construction and an ability to anticipate and meet the customer’s needs. His experiences have reinforced his belief that through collaboration and teamwork, buildings can be constructed in a way that delivers better experiences and outcomes for all project stakeholders. He uses this experience to lead the preconstruction efforts, business development, and general business management at Penobscot General Contractors.

Clay lives with his wife and daughter in Portland. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing in the summer and skiing in the Maine mountains during the winter.
